LED Light Therapy
Light-emitting diode phototherapy, also known as photobiomodulation, is a non-invasive treatment that uses selected wavelengths of visible or near-infrared light to support biological activity within the skin. It does not remove or damage the skin surface and requires little to no downtime.

Skin cells contain light-sensitive molecules called chromophores. When the selected wavelength reaches its target, light energy influences cellular signalling, mitochondrial activity, inflammatory pathways and repair processes. Wavelength determines penetration depth and biological target; treatment dose depends on irradiance, treatment time and distance from the device.

Penetrates beyond visible red light and supports deeper repair, recovery and rejuvenation pathways.
We begin with skin scanning and analysis, cleanse the skin and remove products that block light. We then select the wavelength, dose, treatment time and eye protection for the client's acne, rejuvenation, redness or recovery goals.
Protective eyewear is fitted and the LED panel is positioned at the correct distance. The selected light operates for a measured time. Clients usually feel gentle warmth and rest comfortably throughout treatment.
The skin usually feels calm and comfortable, with no recovery period. Moisturiser and sunscreen are applied as appropriate, and normal activity can resume immediately.
An intensive course of 1–3 sessions weekly for 4–8 weeks is commonly used, followed by maintenance sessions. Wavelength, dose and frequency are matched to acne, rejuvenation, redness, recovery or scalp goals.
